Patience

This morning was hot with thick, humid air. Around 8 I took Bitzi over to the lake in the golf cart. Then I parked it under the shade of a tree then we walked the mile- long path around the lake and drove home. Shortly after getting home I went out by the back patio and pulled a bunch of grass out of the flower bed. After that I took the golf cart to the main lodge and took a water aerobics class and drove home. I put my swim suit, towel and pool shoes out on the patio chairs to dry. My husband just came out from the den and was criticizing me for leaving the pool class a few minutes early. What in the business is it to him? Why would he care? He never goes. He doesn’t know those people. He doesn’t know anything about it. He skulked back into the den to his laptop after I essentially told him to bugger off. Wtf? Such is life with 2 aging people who are retired and together all the time. You’re going to get on each other’s

 nerves sometimes.
