Happy Sunday. We have been here at this resort in Sheridan since Wednesday. Mike has gone to play golf 40 miles away the past two days. I’ve spent a lot of time working out in the pool, driving around and watching movies. It has been very hot and humid. The next few days are supposed to be the same way. I am trying really hard to stay occupied and not allow worries about my adult children consume me. I am not in control. They are driving their own lives now. I step back and send my love.

No King’s Day
It’s early morning and I’m drinking my coffee with Bitzi curled up on my lap. In a while I’ll have to get Arlo and Mabel up, get them dressed and ready, get all their stuff loaded in the car and drive 3+ hours to Canton. Sarah will meet me there to pick them up. Then I’ll go in to the funeral home for Uncle Jim’s visitation, see some of my cousins and then drive home. It will be a long day. Tomorrow is Father’s Day. Next week I’m going to the resort for a week. I think Sarah and the kids are coming for a few days. I’m hoping things go smoothly.

On the road again
I’m almost done with my coffee. Then I’ll take the dog for her morning walk. Then I’ll drive 3 hours south to see my family. I’ll probably come home tomorrow. I’m hoping for a good visit and smooth sailing.

89 days until we leave for Alaska!

Thursday
I’m having my morning coffee. I helped Mike gather up the household trash and recycling for pick up this morning, fed the dog, made my coffee and pb&j bagel and have read the news and done my crossword puzzle.
My left ventricle is not working so I’m pretty short of breath all the time. Both of my main heart arteries are blocked. Smaller natural bypasses have formed but I have some pretty serious stuff going on with my heart. My immune system and vision are weak from the two bouts with cns lymphoma so I have to be grateful to still be kickin’. I try to find beauty and joy wherever possible.

So much has changed
It’s late afternoon. I’m tired. So much has happened since I was writing before. I really don’t know what to say or where to start. I guess I’ll get caught up with time.
