I’m slightly chilled sitting here typing this under the ceiling fan with my flip flops and sleeveless dress on. I’ve been in the pools twice and the hot tub once here today in Sun City. Mike and I took a long golf art ride this morning after my pool class. It’s very hot and thick out there again today and got up in the mid 90’s.
I’m trying to keep busy, keep my mind and body occupied doing things and trying to stay positive. I search for new positive affirmations and recite them in my mind and save them on Pinterest. Best of all, I think, is “ This too shall pass.” That’s my standard default saying.
I’ve been hanging my wet pool clothes out to dry on the back patio. I’m sure some crotchety demented old neighbor will complain. Yesterday some old bat was walking by our house while I was outside with Bitzi and told me she’d never seen our lawn look so bad ( we moved in herein March….) uh, gee thanks. We try.
I just moved four big pots from the back patio to the side where I had a little flower bed cut out for my four trellises. It doesn’t get much sun over there so we’ll see how things do.
We’re going back to Alaska in September on the same cruise ship we took last August. I love it and am so excited!
